Wind and Dust Advisories in Desert

A Dust Advisory remains in effect for the Coachella Valley on Monday, June 29th, 2020.

A Wind Advisory is in effect too.

Strong winds gusting to 60 miles per hour in some regions of the desert, and kicking up sand and creating bad air quality.

The Dust Advisory and the Wind Advisory expire at 8 a-m on Monday, June 29th, 2020, however the strong winds will persist through the afternoon and evening hours in some wind-prone areas of the desert.

By Tuesday, June 30th, the strong winds will be gone, the dust will settle, and breathing will be easier.
