‘Two Beatles’ Mansion From John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ Video Being Renovated
The famous ‘Two Beatles’ mansion – featured in the video for John Lennon’s “Imagine” – is being renovated by the current owner.
The 72-acre Tittenhurst Park property is known as the ‘Two Beatles’ mansion because, well, it was owned by two Beatles – Lennon bought it in 1969 and sold it to Ringo Starr in 1973.
It’s where Lennon first composed “Imagine” in 1971 and was also the site of the last-ever Beatles photo session, for the cover of Hey Jude.
These days, the mansion belongs to the family of Sheikh Khalifa, president of the United Arab Emirates. The planning remodel will add extra bedrooms and expanded garden areas.
