Theme Parks Pressing Governor For Reopening Plans

A trade organization that represents several California theme parks is demanding that California Governor Gavin Newsom issue guidelines for them to reopen.

The California Attractions and Parks Association says tens of thousands of jobs are in jeopardy,  hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue is being lost.

That money supports critical local, state and federal programs.

Small local businesses around them parks have lost revenue as well.

While the Parks Association has created safety protocols to reopen, it is demanding information from the state, as to what must be done to reopen amusement park gates.

The group represents dozens of theme parks in California  including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags Parks, and SeaWorld.
