106.9 The Eagle is a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
On February 26th and 27th, 106.9 The Eagle, in conjunction with the Warburton Week, will host a radio-thon to educate and raise pledges for the children of St. Jude.
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The purpose is clear: Finding cures. Saving children.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% when St. Jude opened in 1962 to more than 80% today. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

St. Jude freely shares its discoveries and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
