“Saturday Night Live” Premiere Ratings Down Nearly 50% Compared To Last Year

According to the latest data from Nielsen, the premiere of “Saturday Night Live”, season 47, didn’t do so well.

The season premiere aired on October 2nd and was hosted by Owen Wilson with musical guest Kacey Musgraves.

The total viewers for this season’s premiere was 4.9 million, which is 50% lower than 2020’s premiere.

Sources say that SNL is hopeful that their upcoming hosts/musical guests will attract more viewers.
