The Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland has unveiled the names of its nominees for the Class of 2022.

Heading up the list are two performers who have excelled in genres other than rock and roll.

Long-time country legend  Dolly Parton,  and hip-hop star Eminem head up the nominees.

Others receiving nominations include singers Carly Simon, Pat Benatar, Kate Bush, Beck, Lionel Ritchie and Dione Warwick, new wave groups Eurythmics and Duran Duran, afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, and heavy metal band Judas Priest.

Rounding out the nominees are bands Rage Against the Machine, the MC-5, Devo, A Tribe Called Quest, and the New York Dolls.
