Riverside County Covid-19 Stats As Of Monday Morning June 8th 2020

Riverside County has 8,777  positive cases of Covid-19, as of Monday, June 8th, 2020.

2,059 cases are in the Coachella Valley,

1,792 of those are in cities.

267 cases are in unincorporated areas of the desert (Bermuda Dunes, Thousand Palms, Sky Valley, Mecca, Thermal, Oasis, Vista Santa Rosa)

 

There have been 355 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County as of Monday, June 8th, 2020.

76 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley.  72 deaths in cities, 4 deaths in unincorporated areas…3 in Mecca,  1 in Vista Santa Rosa.

157 cases in Palm Springs, 11 dead

43 cases in Rancho Mirage, 5 dead

197 cases in Cathedral City, 4 dead

204 cases in Palm Desert, 26 dead

511 cases in Indio, 9 dead

145 cases in La Quinta   10 dead

94 cases in Desert Hot Springs, 1 dead

427 cases in Coachella,  6 dead

14 in Indian Wells, no deaths

6 cases in Idyllwild/Pine Cove

5 cases in Cabazon, 1 dead

1,477 cases in Riverside,  108 dead

859 cases in Moreno Valley, 26 dead

291 cases in Hemet, 21 dead.      149 cases in San Jacinto, 6 dead

220 cases in Beaumont, 11 dead.   117 cases in Banning, 6 dead

5,161 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus.

221 are hospitalized (including new patients from Imperial County).

3,040 are quarantined at home in various stages of recovery.

131,138  people have been tested so far.

All testing is free to the patient being tested.

Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, by appt only. You can also get tested at the Cathedral City Library on Date Palm Drive. Call 800-945-6171 to make an appointment, and you no longer need to have symptoms to schedule a test.

The county is also doing testing at 790 S. State Street in San Jacinto, and 921 S Belle St in Corona, and the Mellman Library on County Centre Drive in Temecula.

Borrego Health, Riverside County, City of Coachella, and Spotlight 29 Casino are doing testing adjacent to the casino on Dillon Road.
