Riverside County has 8,155  positive cases of Covid-19, as of Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020, an increase of 173 cases the past 24 hours.

1,822 cases are in the Coachella Valley, an increase of 48 cases in the past 24 hours.

1,585 of those are in cities.

237 cases are in unincorporated areas of the desert (Bermuda Dunes, Thousand Palms, Sky Valley, Mecca, Thermal, Oasis, Vista Santa Rosa)

There have been 342 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County as of Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020, an increase of 11 deaths the past 24 hours.

69 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley.  65 deaths in cities, 4 deaths in unincorporated areas…3 in Mecca,  1 in Vista Santa Rosa.

171 cases in Cathedral City, 4 dead

191 cases in Palm Desert, 23 dead

4,804 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus.

203 are hospitalized (including new patients from Imperial County).

2,806 are quarantined at home in various stages of recovery.

123,022  people have been tested so far.

All testing is free to the patient being tested.

Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, by appt only. You can also get tested at the Cathedral City Library on Date Palm Drive. Call 800-945-6171 to make an appointment, and you no longer need to have symptoms to schedule a test.

The county is also doing testing at 790 S. State Street in San Jacinto, and 921 S Belle St in Corona, and the Mellman Library on County Centre Drive in Temecula.
