Rain Closes Gene Autry Trail, Indian Canyon Drive & Vista Chino At The Wash In Palm Springs

Indian Canyon Drive, Vista Chino and Gene Autry Trail are closed through the wash in Palm Springs.

Alternate roads are  Ramon Road, Dinah Shore Drive,  East Palm Canyon Drive, Highway 111 through Windy Point,  Date Palm Drive, and  Landau Boulevard.

Allow more time to get to work and school as traffic will be heavy and delays are likely.

First responders in Palm Springs were called to Indian Canyon Drive through the wash just  after 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon to make a swift water rescue when several cars got stranded in some water, a result of some rain that fell quickly.
