Two puppies are being nursed back to health after 2 workers found them in a dumpster in Thousand Palms.

The workers pulled the puppies out of the dumpster at Desert Recycling Company Thursday afternoon March 28th and brought them to the nearby county animal shelter.

The pups were dehydrated and malnourished, but their condition improved drastically when they were given food and water and some hugs from Riverside County Animal Technician Areanna Burnett (photo above).

No word on when the puppies will be put up for adoption.
