PSPD Chief Bryan Reyes Retiring In August 2021…After 27 Years With The Department

After 27 years with the Palm Springs Police Department, the past 5 as Chief of Police, Bryan Reyes is retiring.

 

His retirement takes effect August 23rd 2021.

 

A Marine Corps Veteran, Chief Reyes started his career with the Palm Springs Police Department in 1993.

 

He was promoted to Police Chief in February 2016.

 

Even though the past several Police Chiefs in Palm Springs were hired from within the department, Palm Springs city officials say they are starting an executive search for a new Chief.
