Princess Cruises Tightens Covid-19 Protocols
Princess Cruises is announcing new facemask and Covid-19 testing requirements for anyone boarding a Princess Cruise ship.
The California-based company says passengers should wear facemasks in the casino onboard a cruise ship.
Masks must also be worn when getting on and off the ship as part of the rules that takes effect Sunday August 8th 2021.
Meantime, all passengers must provide proof of a negative COVID test that was taken within three days of getting on the ship.
That requirement starts August 15th 2021, and even applies to those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
This is in addition to the vaccination requirement.
95-percent of passengers and crew have to be vaccinated in order for a Princess Cruise ship to set sail.
