Angela Hoyt of Palm Desert is the first person in the Inland Empire to donate what is called convalescent plasma.  She has recovered from Covid-19, and has donated enough of her blood plasma, so Lifestream Blood Bank can use it to help 4 people who are struggling to overcome the virus.

Blood from people who have recovered from Covid-19 has antibodies that might help patients who ares still fighting the virus.

Angela donated her plasma on Saturday April 18th at the Blood Donor Center in La Quinta.

Lifestream Blood Bank is seeking more plasma donors who have recovered from Covid-19.

For more information, and pre-screening,  go to LStream.org/covidplasma or call 909-386-6837.
