County Fairs in Southern California are taking a beating due to the shutdown surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Orange County Fair has followed the lead of the San Diego and San Bernardino County Fairs, canceling its 2020 event that was supposed to happen between July 17th and August 16th.

Instead, some virtual events will be scheduled.

The Orange County Fair drew 1.39 million people during a 23 day run in the summer of 2019.

The county took home 11.8  million dollars from the Fair, after paying all its expenses.
