New Restaurant In New Shopping Center Could Cause Traffic Delays In Palm Desert
On Thursday, July 14th, 2022, traffic delays are expected on Monterey Avenue and Dinah Shore Drive due to the grand opening of a new fast-food restaurant in the City of Palm Desert.
A new shopping center has been built on the northeast corner of Monterey @ Dinah Shore Drive, just south of Interstate 10, making a congested intersection even worse.
Most of the businesses in that shopping center are now open.
On Thursday July 14th 2022, motorists heading eastbound on Dinah Shore Drive will find the left hand turn lane closed at Monterey Avenue so traffic won’t back up into the intersection.
Instead, eastbound traffic will be directed east of Monterey Avenue, to a safe designated point near Rembrandt Parkway, where you can make a U-turn.
