Nancy’s Avocado Deviled Eggs

Here’s a California twist on an old favorite-Guaranteed to be the hit of your Easter soiree!

Avocado Deviled Eggs

Yield 24 eggs


1 dozen hard boiled eggs

1 large avocado

1 TB lemon juice

1 tsp lime juice

1 clove minced garlic

½ tsp sea salt

¼ tsp black pepper

cilantro & cayenne pepper to garnish



Slice hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Place yolks in medium sized bowl. Scoop out avocado and, using a fork, mash in bowl with yolks. Add lemon and lime juice, garlic, and salt & pepper, continue to mix until fully combined. With a spoon, add filling back into egg white halves. Lightly sprinkle with cayenne pepper and garnish with sprig of cilantro.
