Kids Can Get Covid-19 Vaccine

Anyone who is 12 or older, can now get the Covid-19 vaccine in Riverside County California.

The CDC expanded eligibility on Wednesday May 12th 2021, allowing younger age groups to get vaccinated.

That means 140,000 kids in Riverside County cant get vaccinated.

Those who 12 and older  are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, but they will  need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to get vaccinated.

The Moderna and the Johnson and Johnson vaccines are available to those who are 18 years and older.

There are thousands of vaccine doses available at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, the Palm Springs Convention Center, the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio.

You don’t even need an appointment at the Fairgrounds or at the Convention Center. Walk-in’s are accepted.

Drug stores Sav-On, CVS, Rite-Aid, and Ralph’s, Von’s and Albertson’s with drug stores inside, are all offering the Covid-19 vaccine.
