A 6-hour DUI checkpoint in Palm Springs on Thursday February 24th resulted in just one driver being arrested for impaired driving.
One driver was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, while 4 other drivers were issued citations for driving while unlicensed.
This was out of 770 vehicles screened at the checkpoint on Ramon Road between Farrell Drive and Sunrise Way.
