Idyllwild’s Mayor Max Passes

In Idyllwild, it’s been a tough summer.  Mayor Max, the golden retriever who runs the town, has passed away.

 

He was Mayor for 9 years. He passed away on July 30th 2022 after a short illness.

 

His owner Phyllis is his Chief of Staff, who helped him make it to his public appearances on time, and is still running a website selling Mayor Max T-shirts and souvenirs of the necktie-sporting Mayor.
