HHS Secretary Says Vaccinations Will Begin Early Next Week

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar believes that coronavirus vaccinations will begin early next week.

Azar went on Good Morning America Friday and said that FDA approval of Pfizer’s vaccine would likely happen in “the next couple of days”, with the first vaccinations taking place “Monday or Tuesday”.

The first round of vaccines will go to health care workers and people in nursing homes.  The vaccine won’t be available to the general public until sometime in spring of 2021.
