Gas-Powered Heaters On The Way Out In California

It’s farewell time for gas-powered heaters in  California.

They cannot be sold in the California starting in 2030.

The ban is part of an ongoing effort to  reduce ozone emissions.

State air regulators have voted to ban the heaters.

They  are also pushing for California to get 90-percent of its electricity from clean sources by 2035, and  going carbon-neutral by 2045.

If you can’t use a gas heater, try a heat pump or an electric space heater.   Both of them are electric, and are costly to operate.

Or buy a heavy sweater, thick woolen socks, mittens and a hat.

Sexy?  No.

But you will stay warm.
