Firebirds Win; Valley Hockey Fans Pack Acrisure Arena

The Coachella Valley Firebirds have won 3 in row, winning their home opener against the Tucson Roadrunners 4 to 3 in front of more than 10-thousand hockey fans at Acrisure Arena.

 

The Firebirds scored 3 goals in the second period to take a 4 to 2 lead, heading into the final period.

 

Tucson made it close, scoring a late goal after pulling its goaltender.

 

The Firebirds are now in 2nd place just 3 points behind the 1st place Colorado Eagles.

 

They’ll face Colorado on Jaunary 4th at Acrisure Arena.
