Extreme Weather Alert

It will certainly be cooler at the beaches around Southern California than it will be in the deserts.

But beach areas have much higher humidity levels, making temperatures there just as uncomfortable there, as the triple digit readings in the desert and valley areas.

So, Caltrans has issued an Extreme Weather Alert for all regions of Southern California on Thursday June 16th.

In the Coachella Valley, an Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9 p-m on Sunday June 20th 2021.

Summer begins Sunday night June 20th at 8:31 p-m.
