Excessive Heat Warning For The Desert Extended Through Sunday Night August 29th 2021

Officially, summer runs through September 21st 2021, and it’s letting us know it is not done with us yet.
An Excessive Heat Warning in the Coachella Valley has been extended through Sunday night August 29th at 9 o’clock.
Sunny skies will push daytime highs into the 110-113 degree range. Overnight lows will be 85 to 90 degrees.
That’s pretty warm for August, which usually delivers murky skies and muggy conditions to the desert.
By Tuesday August 31st, those murky skies and muggy conditions will be back, dropping daytime highs back down to around 100 degrees, with a threat of thunderstorms.
