Desert Sees 39 New Covid-19 Cases; 26 In Cities, 13 In Unincorporated Areas

There have been 217 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County as of Tuesday, May 12th, 2020. That’s 12 more deaths since Monday, May 11th, 2020.
38 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley, no increase there.
Riverside County has 5,189 positive cases of Covid-19, as of Tuesday morning May 12th, 2020, an increase of 150 cases since Monday, May 11th, 2020
963 cases are in the Coachella Valley, which is an increase of 39 cases in the past 24 hours.
837 of those are in cities, an increase of 26 cases in the past 24 hours. 126 cases are in unincorporated areas of the desert (Bermuda Dunes, Thousand Palms, Sky Valley, Mecca, Thermal, Oasis, Vista Santa Rosa) an increase of 13 new cases in the past day.
