Cupcakes, Concert Mark Marilyn’s 96th Birthday In Palm Springs

PS Resorts welcomes Marilyn Monroe fans to join in on a special celebration for her birthday at the site of the Forever Marilyn sculpture in Downtown Palm Springs.

Wednesday  June 1st, 2022, the birthday bash will begin at 6:15 p.m. – where 500 red velvet cupcakes with pink frosting will be shared with attendees (while supplies last).

Then, at 7:00 p.m., to kick off the Rock the Park Concert at the new Palm Springs Downtown Park, the featured act – Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Mirage – will sing Happy Birthday to Marilyn and invite the public to join in.

As the sun sets, a special pink light will shine on Forever Marilyn so that those who come out for the celebration will be able to take photos with her lit up pretty in pink for her birthday. Forever Marilyn will glow in the pink spotlight for one night only – June 1^st, what would have been her 96^th birthday.

And we are extremely grateful to Sherman’s Deli in Palm Springs for donating the birthday cupcakes and to the Palm Springs Mounted Police Search & Rescue Team for distributing the cupcakes that evening.”
