1,774  cases are in the Coachella Valley.

1,541 of those are in cities.

233 cases are in unincorporated areas of the desert (Bermuda Dunes, Thousand Palms, Sky Valley, Mecca, Thermal, Oasis, Vista Santa Rosa)

There have been 331 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County as of Monday, June 1st, 2020.

 

65 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley.  61 deaths in cities, 4 deaths in unincorporated areas…3 in Mecca,  1 in Vista Santa Rosa.

4,725 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus.

195 are hospitalized (including new patients from Imperial County).

2,731 are quarantined at home in various stages of recovery.

119,824  people have been tested so far.

All testing is free to the patient being tested.

Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, by appt only. You can also get tested at the Cathedral City Library on Date Palm Drive. Call 800-945-6171 to make an appointment, and you no longer need to have symptoms to schedule a test.

The county is also doing testing at 790 S. State Street in San Jacinto, and 921 S Belle St in Corona, and the Mellman Library on County Centre Drive in Temecula.
