Covid-19 Variant Spreading Quickly

The CDC is warning that the mutant COVID-19 strain, the one that was found in the U-K,  is on track to become the dominant Covid strain in the U.S. by March 2021.

It’s a  more infectious strain than  the one that has stricken the United States.

Fewer than 100 cases of this U-K variant strain have been identified in the U.S., but the actual number is believed to be exponentially higher.

The CDC warning comes as demand for the Covid-19 vaccine surges amid a rollout hampered by limited supplies and lack of national coordination.
