Covid-19 Tops List of 2020’s Banished Words

Every year there is a Word of the Year, but some people want the opposite. Enter Lake Superior State University’s list of 2020’s Banished Words.

At no surprise, “Covid-19” tops the list of words people don’t want to follow them into 2021. In fact, 7 of the top ten words and phrases are Covid-related.
