18,931,106 people still need to be tested in California, that’s 47.32% of the state’s population.

 

4.88% of the people tested for Covid-19 in California have tested positive. That’s 1,029,235 people.

 

95.11% of the people tested for Covid-19 in California have tested negative.  That’s 20,039,659 people.

 

California has 18,263 deaths from Covid-19, which is 1.77% of those who have tested positive.

 

California hospitals report 4/10th’s of 1% of the people who have tested positive, are hospitalized, which is 4,559 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the hospitals. 1,131 of those patients are in ICU.

Riverside County stats as of Tues morning November 17th 2020.

 

On Tuesday November 17th 2020, Riverside County remains in the California’s most restrictive Purple Tier, for Widespread risk of Covid-19 transmission.

 

Riverside County has tested 950,956 people for Covid-19 since March 2020, out of a population of 2.5 million.  That’s 38.03% of the County’s population.

 

 

1,549,044 people still need to be tested in the county, that’s 61.96% of the county’s population.

 

7.97% of the people tested for Covid-19 in Riverside County have tested positive. That’s 75,848 people.

 

92.02% of the people tested for Covid-19 in Riverside County have tested negative.  That’s 875,108 people.

 

Of the 75,848 people who have tested positive in Riverside County,

85.59% of them, 64,922 have fully recovered.

12.18% of them, 9,242 are at home recovering. Together, that’s 97.77% of all the positive cases.  712 new cases in the past 72 hours.

 

4/10th’s of 1%, of the people who have tested positive so far in Riverside County, 310 people, remain hospitalized, and 78  of them are in Intensive Care.

 

1.81% of the people who have tested positive so far in Riverside County, 1,374 people, have died from Covid-19. 394 of those deaths have been in the Coachella Valley, which is 28.67% of the County’s total. 355 deaths in cities, 39 deaths in unincorporated areas…11 in Mecca,  1 in Vista Santa Rosa, 3 in Bermuda Dunes, 5 in Garnet, 3 in Desert Palms, 5 in Desert Edge, 5 in Oasis, 1 in Thousand Palms, 2 in Sky Valley, 2 in Thermal,  and 1 in North Shore.

 

Of the 1,374 people who have died from Covid-19 in Riverside County, 956 of them have been over 65; 350 have been between 45 and 64.

 

17,428 positive cases have been recorded in the Coachella Valley since March 8th 2020, when the testing and counting began. 88.73% of them, 15,464  people, have recovered. There are 1,964 active cases in the desert on 11/17/2020. 286 new cases in the past 72 hours.

 

2,357 cases are in unincorporated areas of the desert since March 2020.  53 new cases in the past 72 hours.

(Mecca 528 cases, Thermal 210 cases, Oasis 392 cases,  North Shore 186 cases, Bermuda Dunes 169 cases, Thousand Palms 291 cases, Vista Santa Rosa 110 cases, Garnet 270 cases, Desert Palms 62 cases, Desert Edge 84 cases, and Sky Valley 55 cases).

 

 

87.48%, or 2,062 people have recovered from Covid-19 in unincorporated areas:

Mecca 472, Thermal 190, Oasis 351, North Shore 147, Bermuda Dunes 143,

Thousand Palms 250, Vista Santa Rosa 101, Garnet 239, Desert Palms 48, Desert Edge 69, Sky Valley 52.  295 active cases of Covid-19 in unincorporated areas as of 11/17/2020.

 

 

15,071 Covid-19 cases reported in cities in the desert, since March 2020. 233 new cases in the past 72 hours.

 

88.92% of those people, 13,402 people have recovered. 1,669 active Covid-19 cases in cities in the Coachella Valley as of 11/17/2020.

There are no deaths from Covid-19 for anyone from newborn to age 17.

deaths among people aged 18-24.

350 deaths among people aged 45-64

659 deaths among people aged 65-84

297 deaths among people aged 85 and up.

 

813 deaths are men, 555 are women, and 0 are transgender, non-binary or intersex according to county officials.

 

Riverside County has 3,559 cases in nursing homes, with 2,200 cases among patients, and 1,359 cases among staff. The overwhelming majority of nursing home cases, 957 cases, are in the City of Riverside.

In Coachella Valley nursing facilities, there have been 192 cases in Palm Desert, 175 in Palm Springs, 77 in Rancho Mirage, 58 in Indio, 53 in La Quinta,

Rite Aid is doing Covid-19 testing by appointment for people 18 years of age or older, regardless of whether the person is experiencing symptoms. Results are expected in three to five days.

 

The Coachella Valley locations providing testing starting Thursday July 16th 2020 are:

— 51101 Cesar Chavez St., Coachella;

— 47985 Monroe St., Building A, Indio; 

 

The sites will utilize self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists, and will operate weekdays from 10 a.m to 8 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
