Congress Member Calls For Fed Stimulus Checks Due To Cost Of Gasoline, Electricity
Congressman John Larson is proposing a bill that would provide stimulus payments to Americans to offset soaring energy costs.
Larson is a Democrat from Connecticut.
His proposal would provide one-hundred dollars per person per month. That’s for anyone who files tax returns and their dependents.
It would be issued by the U-S Treasury, the way the 2020 and 2021 stimulus checks were.
And their are income guidelines, so joint filers earning more than 150-thousand-dollars a year would NOT be eligible, and single filers earning more than 75-thousand-dollars a year, would not get the stimulus checks.
