Coachella Valley Has Nearly One-Fifth Of Riverside County Covid-19 Cases

There have been 161 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County.

26 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley.

Riverside County has 4,180 positive cases of Covid-19, out of more than 53,300 people tested so far.

806 cases are in the Coachella Valley.

710 of those are in cities, and 96 cases are in unincorporated areas.

99 cases in Palm Springs, 9 dead

26 cases in Rancho Mirage, 3 dead

101 cases in Cathedral City, 1 dead

90 cases in Palm Desert, 5 dead

138 cases in Indio, 4 dead

72 cases in La Quinta   1 dead

40 cases each in Desert Hot Springs; No deaths

131 cases in Coachella, 3 dead

13 in Indian Wells

96 cases in unincorporated areas in the desert;  No deaths

3 cases in Idyllwild/Pine Cove

3 cases in Cabazon, 1 dead

734 cases in Riverside,  40 dead

460 cases in Moreno Valley, 15 dead

185 cases in Hemet, 13 dead;  74 cases in San Jacinto, 2 dead

6 cases in Anza

143 cases in Beaumont, 5 dead

1,971 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus.

211 are hospitalized.

1,837 are quarantined at home in various stages of recovery.

53,333  people have been tested so far.

Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, by appt only. Call 800-945-6171 to make an appointment, and you no longer need to have symptoms to schedule a test.
