A New Student Center Building is on the drawing board at the Cal State Campus in Palm Desert.

The 79 million dollar building will be funded through the 2022-2023 California budget.

The Center will offer nearly 24-thousand square feet for  tutoring, career counseling, library services, group study space, recreation and wellness.  It will include a cross cultural center, a bookstore, food services, and student health facilities.

Current faculty and classroom areas will be expanded so the campus can grow from its current 23-hundred students to 4-thousand students.
