CA Surplus Getting Bigger

Already boasting a 30 billion dollar surplus right now, the State of California expects to see a surplus of 45 billion dollars by the end of 2022.

That money is tax money that has been collected, over and above what the State needs to run its operations.

If you gave that money to every Californian, each person would get 1,125 dollars.

The State is not considering returning it to you, and is not looking at lowering your taxes, but will spend that money on various programs and expenditures.
