As of 5 a-m Wednesday November 4th 2020.
Election Night vote counting is complete but results are not final.
Approximately 400,000 Vote-by-Mail and 25,000 Provisional ballots still must be processed. Work on those begins Wednesday morning.
Ballots that are postmarked on or before Election Day also remain to be counted.
The next updated results will be posted at 6:00pm on Thursday Nov 5th 2020.

Rita Lamb 1,042 votes easily defeats Alan Carvalho 577 votes

Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez wins reelection by about 400 votes, beating Lesly Figueroa 2,835 to 2,430 votes.
Denise Delgado and Emmanuel Martinez lead the race for Coachella City Council, but Martinez has just a 49 vote lead over Neftali Galarza.

Desert Hot Springs reelects Scott Matas with 2,208 votes to 1,217 for Adam Sanchez.
Russell Betts and Jessica Gilbert lead the race for City Council with 1,636 votes for Betts, and 1,001 for Gilbert.

Indian Wells, Greg Sanders, Donna Griffith and Kimberly Muzik are way out in front as the top 3 vote getters for City Council.

Indio, Glenn Miller wins 3,462 to 1,807 for Erin Teran for the City Council seat in District 1.
Indio Lupe Ramos Smith wins the Council seat in District 5 with 1,856 votes. Frank Ruiz was next with 842 votes.

La Quinta…Mayor, Linda Evans grabbed 9,082 votes, to 1,932 for Robert Sylk.
La Quinta City Council, Steve Sanchez 7,035 votes and Kathleen Fitzpatrick 6,918 votes are the top finishers in that race.

Palm Desert City Council District 1, Karina Quintanilla beats Susan Marie Weber 932 to 589.
Palm Desert District 2 Gina Nestande and Kathleen Kelly lead the race with 6,161, and 5,728 votes each.

Palm Springs City Council, District 4, Christy Holstege easily wins reelection with 1,812 votes. Mike McCulloch had 915. District 5, Lisa Middleton ran unopposed.

Close races in the Mission Springs Water District where Russ Martin leads Theresa Powell by just 30 votes in Division 3. Randy Duncan leads Larry Przybylski by 111 votes in Division 2.
Desert Water Agency Division 5, Kristin Bloomer 3,035 votes, Raymond Amico 1,108 votes.

Desert Healthcare District, Zone 3, Carmina Zavala was an easy winner.

More than 10-thousand votes were cast in the race for the Desert Recreation District Division 3, and Jonathan Matthew Becerra has 5,129, while Joanne Gilbert has 5,114, so just 15 votes difference there. In Division 5, Laura McGalliard has 8,220 votes to 5,758 votes for Daniel Van Horn.
