CA Police Chiefs Proposes Changes In Modus Operandi
Police chiefs across the state are supporting a plan to get rid of officers who break the law. The California Police Chief Association has endorsed a package of reforms that includes periodic mental health checks.
The organization’s president Chief Eric Nunez said they are supporting the de-certification of officers by an independent authority “outside of the deploying agency”, for officers having a history of egregious misconduct.
