BNP Paribas Open Underway; Djokovich Not Playing Indian Wells This Year

The BNP Paribas Open begins with qualifying rounds Monday March 6th and Tuesday March 7th 2023 with gates to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden opening at 10 a-m, first match at 11 a-m.

 

Tickets are ten dollars.

 

It’s a digital world for tickets.  No cash accepted at the tennis garden.

 

Among the young stars you can watch today are Christopher Eubanks, Steve Johnson, Tennys Sandgren, Coco Vandeweghe, and Taylor Townsend.

 

All of the action is at Stadium 2 through 9.

Also, Novak Djokovich won’t be playing in Indian Wells this year.

 

His request for an exemption to come into the United States was denied.   He is not vaccinated against Covid-19.
