Air Travel For Thanksgiving Up ‘Significantly’ Over Last Year

Expect to see crowded airports if you’re traveling for Thanksgiving this year.

Airline bookings for the Thanksgiving holiday are way up this year – a 78% increase, according to Adobe Digital Insights.

That’s significantly higher than last year, and slightly higher than 2019 as well.

Some airlines are taking extra steps to be ready for a surge in holiday travel – American Airlines is offering a 50% holiday pay increase for flight attendants, and extra bonuses for working the full holiday season.
