Acrisure Arena Inks Deals With Melissa’s Produce & Patriot One Technologies
Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds are teaming up on a multi-year partnership with Melissa’s Produce, the leading distributor of specialty produce in the United States.
Melissa’s is the official Acrisure Arena partner. As the exclusive produce supplier, Melissa’s products will be integrated throughout the arena, enhancing the food and beverage program with the freshest and most flavorful fruits and vegetables.

Through their involvement with dozens of sports teams and venues across the country, Melissa’s has been instrumental in bringing fresh produce to sports fans and their local communities. The produce provider will be incorporated into concessions, clubs, suites, and bars throughout the arena. From seasonal cocktails to grab-and-go marketplaces to premium chef’s tables, Melissa’s fresh products will be accessible to every fan who visits Acrisure Arena.

Within this partnership, Melissa’s and the Firebirds will team up to provide healthy food to the Coachella Valley Community. Each year, Melissa’s will serve as the presenting partner of one community initiative, providing $100,000+ worth of fresh produce over the course of the multi-year agreement. Melissa’s will also support the arena’s sustainability efforts, providing local ingredients, organic produce, and plant-based offerings.

Owned and operated by Oak View Group (OVG), the global venue development, advisory, and investment company for both the sports and live entertainment industries, Acrisure Arena is the latest venue to deploy Patriot One’s SmartGateway following the announced strategic partnership with OVG, and following similar announcements for the Moody Center, in Austin, TX, Rupp Arena and Lexington Opera House, in Lexington, KY, and Angel of The Winds Arena in Everette, WA.

SmartGateway is the latest iteration of Patriot One’s Gateway patron screening solution. The system was designed for large, ticketed venues to enable high throughput, but customizability based on the customer’s individual needs and security requirements.
