Getting a puppy!!

I have been waiting for just the right time to adopt a puppy, the wait may finally be over. My kids have been quietly, o.k. not so quietly begging for a awhile, but in searching for a rescue puppy you know when you know, right? You want to take them all home and love them, but we can only take in one for right now....so the official search is on. I grew up with dogs and I want my kids to have that experience too. How about you? Do you have any dogs, or a better question would be, how many do you have?
