Palm Springs, La Quinta or Palm Desert?

Where to next? Looking for a place to settle the family is driving me crazy. Maybe it should be Palm Desert, Palm Springs is where I work, but La Quinta has everything...I cant decide, you know what its like when you have kids...trying to figure out the school districts and then there is the gas prices. Can I set up a tent in the parking lot here at MORRIS DESERT MEDIA? I have asked everybody what they love about the city they live in...what about you? Is it the shopping, the views, the night life? What is it about where you live that you love?
