Your Dream Band...

Check this out...The video game developer Electronic Arts which is one of the companies behind the game, Rock Band recently conducted a survey to determine who would play in your ultimate all-time DREAM BAND. 

In the end, the late Freddie Mercury of Queen was named the singer of the Dream Band.  No specifics on the voting process were released, but they say some of the other contenders were Mick Jagger and the late Kurt Cobain.  Jimi Hendrix who died back in 1970 was chosen as the band's guitarist, and Flea, of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was picked as the bassist.  The Dream Band's drummer is the late Keith Moon, from The Who.

Unfortunately, thanks to that pesky little thing we call mortality, the closest thing we'll ever get to THIS DREAM BAND is...well, a Flea solo album.

I guess what I'm getting at is, do you agree with the musicians chosen by this survey, or do you have some BETTER ideas?  Or, what if we were to assemble a Dream Band of LIVING artists...who do you think would be in that band?

Oh, yeah...And let's not call the group DREAM BAND.  That's lame.  What do you think it should be called?  Remember, ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA is taken.
