Need A Little Input...

Okay, gang...Let's talk.

Last Saturday a guy by the name of Michael Myers of Louisville, Kentucky, was crusing around in his silver Crown Victoria when he saw a woman stumble out of a bar.  He pulled up to the woman and identified himself as a police officer.  He then told her that if she didn't get into his car, he was going to haul her off to jail for public drunkenness.  

The only problem?  Michael's NOT a cop and the fake police badge he was carrying around read that he was a, quote, "Official Boobie Inspector for the Department of Titillation".

Now, fortunately, a couple of firefighters noticed what was going on and they approached Michael and the woman to make sure everything was okay.  Michael assured the firefighters that everything was fine and told them to get lost, but the guys were suspicious and they called the REAL cops.

When the police showed up, they found Michael's fake badge and arrested him for impersonating a police officer, which is a felony.

My question to you is, can anyone in law enforcement tell us what to do if you've been pulled over by someone who SAYS they're a cop, but you're not sure?  Because if they actually are a cop, and you run...you're screwed.  But what if they aren't?  Any suggestions?
