A rocker on AMERICAN IDOL? Ummmmm no

I have to admit, I used to watch AMERICAN IDOL, but they lost me a long time ago. The machine is a bit much for me, but last night I caught the "showdown" as the final two fought it out for the title. If I heard them call that one guy a rocker one more time I was going to lose it. They have talent, but come on...a rocker? We know rockers when we hear them, ROBERT PLANT, JIM MORRISON, STEVEN TYLER....that guy on IDOL? What do you think, am I crazy? O.k. scratch that, do you agree?
