Okay, as you know, the City Council has banned amplified live music in Palm Desert with a vote of 4-1.  This has forced Augusta Restaurant to close down which is one of the coolest places to hear live music in Palm Desert.  I really think this is wrong.  However, I am of the belief that you can still enjoy live classic rock and roll acoustically.  To prove my point, I am bringing some of my band down to Augusta Restaurant at the corner of Portolla and El Paseo 7pm tonight and will play a set of acoustic classic rock and roll WITHOUT the use of any amplification whatsoever.  I hope you will stop by and say hi.  We've GOT to keep live music in Palm Desert and this is the way to do it.  Hope to see you all there.  Let me know your thoughts on this.
