Love living here

O.k., so we have had relentless wind and seemingly endless traffic trouble. Last week many of us were stuck, trying to get work on time(which I failed) while many of our roads were closed and sand was being cleared from the one exit we could use. Getting from Desert Hot Springs to Palm Springs was a challenge at best. But all in all I would'nt trade living here for anything. I caught the bug and moved away for a few years...that entire time, I was devising a plan to get back to the desert. And now that I am finally back here, I cant imagine leaving. Closed roads, sand drifts, WIND, I'll take it all, and love the warm desert nights, soaring mountains and close community.
